  had a dream that featured a girl named Sun Splinters*. I guess she and this guy in his 40s that was driving the car really hit it off. Pretty sure that was scripted. Later people (several) were riding a bike (one) down Sheridan and some guy was arguing with Spock. Then I got teleported to my house by some powerful, ticked-off being.

  Getting out of my car. Some SUV pulls up behind me and parks sloppily too close to the intersection. Three women get out and the oldest one starts asking me what part of MySpace Twitter is. As I try to explain the Internet, I am kidnapped into my car by these women and we drive into the neighborhood. We turn right and a mail truck is blocking the way and there is a car in front of us having a fit about it. POV inside front car as someone yells "use the horn!" and we see horn get pressed, but it's a weak electronic sounding horn that goes on and off as you hold it down. We all squeeze past (feeling of walking single file through a crowd) [in our cars] and as we are driving down the street once more we see an escaped killer whale hurriedly shuffling down the street with a towel wrapped around its midsection. We follow to its destination and are then shown what claims to be "The Black Cauldron" (I have never seen this movie) which ends with a climactic? scene involving Winnie the Pooh, Goofy, possibly Piglet and someone else being suspensefully held (reeled down?) over the yarn-outline villain. Someone pulls a thread or something and the plot is foiled, after which we flash back to the house we arrived at. The characters were apparently whatever real people were in the house, and we see a deteriorated film clip of Don Knotts being surprised that he was Goofy. Someone else said "dang!" in a Napoleon Dynamite style voice but I didn't know who that was. A couple other people I never saw before were there as well. Also the whale was either a voice actor or jumping around in the house, but I can't remember. I was now back at my house and someone was asking me about what just happened, which caused us to watch the movie again and see the same climax and realization sequence from before. I can't remember what the whale had to do with it but I'm pretty sure it could talk or something.

  Part of this is due to an older woman being confused about Disney movies being on DVD at work yesterday. Yarn outline villain is obviously from the new Kirby game, and I think the whale is from a toy I saw recently.

  I was in a remake of Disney's The Little Mermaid. I was some boy who had been kidnapped to some other world and some mean guys of no description were looking for me. After a while I got to this tiny island with a glass window where you could see stuff under it. The main character's father said that his son had been trapped or something and asked if I could see his video camera which was under the glass. I thought I could so he had me swim/crawl down through this crawlspace which was kind of like a car left in the sun. Topside, the bad guys were there looking for me. I kept bringing back different stuff from the son's room like weird SNES games and an Xbox 360 hard drive and wireless headset, all with Vintage Stock stickers. Eventually while I was still looking, one of the bad guys noticed my foot against the glass and pulled down the car window of the crawlspace saying how they'd found me (or "him"). We both floated up DBZ style over the water and I guess we were going to fight but then he flew off. After that, the other kid seemed to show up but he was really Batman (or a kid who was Batman). He used some sort of mental powers from Ra's Al Ghul called "The 40th Day" (complete with the 40th day logo from the Army of Two game) which changed everything from live action to Batman cartoon style, and searchlights and lasers moved around and the 40th Day logo was on the sides of buildings and stuff, drawn a little badly since it was the Batman cartoon. Later, I was in a hospital with a couple of people and Jim Carrey as "The Mask" but he had alternating personalities and at first he was acting really prissy and talking about something. Then his face shook and he became more nonchalant, after which a middle aged bald guy came to follow him around, but then The Mask said how that guy was "a little confused". (It was some gay guy who liked the previous persona.) In one of the patients' rooms at the hospital, a guy was telling this woman in a bed that she shouldn't listen to the police scanner and that the policemen fighting would do a good job anyway. She replied saying that she loved either the hospital or the police force (can't remember which), wanting him to trust her and let her listen. There were two other wounded policemen in the room and one of them switched beds after the woman turned on the radio. That also made most of the display wall's lights turn off.

You could only see it from one direction so I tried to turn around but I started to get lost in the rain so I started driving towards a highway and began to lose control on a hill.

  We were driving in our old 1987 Dodge Colt Vista (from the looks of the interior) that we used to have. In this reality apparently it was my car. I had loaded things like my entire SNES collection into it and I guess we were going on a long road trip. I was driving and eventually we had to go back somewhere so I began driving up this ramp at ever increasing speed. Eventually we made a jump and I had to lean forward hard in order to level the car out. This was the entrance to some sort of heavily populated water park, and I knew the people would get out of the way when the car came. After that, my grandma and my older brother were coming along too so I had to clear out a lot of the stuff I had packed into the car. (For some reason we were right by our house.) We now had to hurry because my dad had some sort of business engagement he had to get to. Soon it was night, and I was floating down an artificial river with high current. My store manager said something to me as I passed. I got up on the risers at the side and dove back in, but wildly overshot my intended trajectory. I landed at the edge in a whirlpool* and rolled my face but didn't get injured. I got to the end and saw a frictionless, water-coated beach volleyball court. I couldn't stop myself so I ran all the way to the net and hoped to be sprung back. After a while I was floating in this conical *whirlpool made of sand. I got out and went to some sort of indoor stage area right next to the river. I was informed that the next act was a local guitar player/singer that I was familiar with but he wasn't very good. There was a pack of about 7 crazed hipsters singing along a couple rows behind me and doing all the motions to the songs. I was back in the river after hearing about a movie that was coming out which was a sequel to a very similar movie. I had a Chinese takeout box and was experimenting with submerging it upside-down and then feeling the air bubble underneath. Soon I could put my head in the box too, and for some reason I was able to breathe while submerged and just having expelled the air from my lungs. When my head was in the box I was watching the movie. It began with clips of people talking about lying, and then there was a '70s style game show where two polygraph answers were compared with the aid of large graphics overhead. It ended when one person didn't truthfully tell the same answer or something. It was somewhat dramatic. My coworker was freaking out because he was being shot at by tanks with missiles. He was playing Resident Evil and he was 10 or 15 feet up in the air. We were reviewing stills of the missiles coming at his point of view but then we realized those were the wrong ones and there were others. We were in his house and there was a jet being fired at and it started to zoom out and freeze on this jet dogfight scene of chaos, and it was playing a really catchy theme song. Our friend started trying to play along on the piano and got in tempo after a while. I thought this was the Evangelion theme song but it wasn't.

  A forgotten Peter Jackson movie about the world flooding at the end. I was actually a secret agent and a Russian woman instructed me to go into a police station (a large, dingy room with small colored tiles all over the walls and floor and lots of drainage troughs on the floor) and find her thermos of coffee and call her. Then she told me where I needed to go next. Meanwhile a girl's face was used as a giant moving model for a room that contained a swimming pool that was the only thing which would float when the flood started. But someone forgot that miniatures from that shot floating into a life size room didn't make sense, but whoever was making the movie didn't care. I saw the last scene on a small screen in the police station.

  After that I was walking downtown past a Wonder Bread building, but people had rearranged the letters in the logo (apparently this was a fad but not done on this scale) and spelled other things or just made gibberish. Even the graffiti on the building was apparently derived from the neon logo letters and other stuff. The tall glass building next to it had also received graffiti even though it had no words.

  Dreamed Daniel found some SNES games in the back of the store that I would want, like "Mega Man 13 Championship Edition" which was only available in cereal boxes. The counter was in a different place and a minute later I had to start jumping over the shrubbery that took the place of the front window when the store turned into some sort of church grounds. After that, I was standing under a tree and the wind started blowing hard enough to keep me from moving. Then some psychedelic sand patterns started blowing around and the sand storm was strong enough to eat the siding off old buildings but didn't damage me. Then we started climbing up into these windows on the top floor of this building to tell the inhabitants that their dilapidated siding was gone.

  There were creatures with slightly bulbous heads and black eyes with red outlines. If they touched you, you froze in place forever or became one of them. They weren't quite like zombies but kind of reminded me of them.

  Somehow I and some people I knew had been captured and put in a place that was like real life but I got the distinct impression that I was asleep. There were giant red letters in the sky warning us of the fakeness of our environment, but the end of the message was garbled and only a few new letters were added every day. Some people in the building where I was kept had figured out how to trick the drink machines into giving out more than water. I was trying to figure out how to manipulate the machines as well but I was suddenly outside, watching a Jeep tow another car with a chain. However the Jeep jumped the median and went against the flow of traffic, while the towed car was still in the right lane. They came up on a light pole and collided due to the chain.

  I was back in the "real world" because we had to get supplies at a really dark and creepy grocery store. An epiphany suddenly came: Maybe the sleeping people were all these pop bottles moving around on a conveyor/sorter thing I saw! Not knowing how to free the sleeping pop people I went with the rest of my party and exited the store, always mindful that if one of those red eye creatures touched me, I was toast forever. In our hotel room we pondered how to escape.

Some guy wanted some orange juice and a couple fruit pastries, but all I had was a shot glass worth of orange juice and no pastries.   I had a pretty intense dream where I stayed up late playing Super Mario Land and discovered it was a really complex game full of secrets and you had to earn money that had to be donated to the developers in game, and then I guess they would tell you stuff or make you fall through the floor if they didn't like your contribution.   Had a dream that was a mashup of Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead (neither of which I have seen) where Sean Bean had come back to life and was now a scientist working to cure the zombie epidemic. There was a scene in which someone died for no apparent reason; they were walking and just sort of keeled over on a hill. Sean Bean was working in a greenhouse dome protected from the zombies and the cold, but some other guy came to fight him and he could hover from place to place. They ended up duking it out Dragon Ball Z style.

They were having some kind of luau/barn raising and then Tim Allen's voice over said "yep, you're talking to the departed dead. I hesitate to remember the day, heh heh heh..." then the camera craned upwards and he was riding on someone's shoulders as the title appeared, "It: Big Large and Tall Man"

  Gielfriend and I went to Target. We decided to go to the library after that, and I wasn't exactly sure where that was so I started driving and was able to drive my car off three flat areas in one shopping center at 71st & Memorial and jump down to each next lowest area until I got to the library's parking lot. We got to the door and grabbed a large shopping cart and I lightly wheeled it down a 50-foot flight of stairs. The door attendant offered to watch my buggy while we were in the library and I accepted. We walked around for a while and there was an odd light novel version of one volume of Akira, with two copies of the same book in one dust jacket but they had different Dewey decimal numbers. We were about to leave at 11 PM but then Stephen got off his shift there so we went to their back room and hung out with him. He had a large green extremely modded Game Boy with a giant crisp color screen and was playing "Holy Sword Legend Gaiden," a reproduction Super Nintendo game with incredible graphics and a smaller than average cartridge with an EPROM for saving so you would never have to replace the battery. This was all displaying nearby on a TV so we could see it, but Kevin was actually playing it. Stephen put some food in the microwave which had been the TV and the entire microwave began to rotate and made it hard to keep the video cord plugged into it. We began to all leave the now closed library, and to exit, we went down the same flight of stairs we had gone down to enter the building. Never up. Daniel was there and he hopped down several steps, then with blinding speed rolled down the rest of them like a Goron and made an incredible landing. We told everyone about game night and made our way out of the pitch black mall. Some lady with very long hairy carrot-style ears asked where her volume of some anime was and I attempted to look it up on a copy of our store's point-of-sale system that was running on my piano and had Times New Roman for the font. I didn't have a login so a library employee had to look.

  Outside, I was putting my buggy away in the cart return in the grassy parking lot and realized I wasn't wearing shoes. I told my girlfriend and the door attendant that I probably left them inside. The door attendant (who was speaking to me from some dimly lit cafeteria through the window) gave some sort of nonsensical reply and I then realized I had been wearing my sandals all the time. I swiftly hovered back down the hill with my feet about an inch above the grass and all the people sitting at tables and benches in the grass were impressed. Some strange semi with a state fair type ride on it called "Mario's Atari Toxic Waste Dump" or something was driving slowly behind the trees. It was very shiny and had silver and green pipes and a skull & crossbones motif and sludge letters. We then heard some loud prop planes overhead. We could see one plane chasing the other, and then noticed that the pursuer was actually two planes tethered together. The pursuer shot the small plane at the quarry and it tried to climb on the quarry's wing. The small plane fell off and they kept circling. The pursuer tried to shoot the quarry and missed. As they got closer to the ground, we could see that the quarry was actually a pickup truck. Suddenly it was daylight and we had been up all night. Circling overhead, the pursuer let off another shot and grounded the truck. The truck had six wheels and apparently no driver. They had suddenly landed in front of Big Al's Healthy Foods, and the person piloting the pursuing plane walked out of Big Al's blowing smoke from his shotgun.

  Dreamed I had two extra weeks of vacation so I went back to California. We ordered some sandwiches but had to wait to pick them up so I drove around the parking lot and parked in different spaces. We went back inside and Ian Anderson was the cashier. He said "I'm so glad to see you!" and started walking around the sandwich shop/giant museum with us. My mom was suddenly there talking about how my grandma just sent her a message asking why we had bought sandwiches because she was monitoring our bank accounts. I was explaining what was going to happen after Infinity War when we went to one of the giant rooms which was apparently a famous recording studio with giant concentric circles of greenish acoustic treatment on the walls and one very long microphone protruding diagonally from one of the walls. I began to lose the ability to breathe as I read about all the people that recorded there including Led Zeppelin and a bunch of other famous people. I said "this is a place of great power" and sat in a very cushiony chair. There was a note about a Japanese ex-slave girl(?!) who rose to prominence as one of the greatest drummers ever. There were two upright pianos on one side of the room that were "the 70s aesthetic." I thought about trying to play one.

  Dreamed that someone told me the bumps on their tortoise needed to be filed down. But I kept standing on the tortoise and his shell started collapsing like a rotting pumpkin. Inside there was a miniature ecosystem with grass and streams and frogs. He didn't seem bothered that his shell was disintegrating. Later I dreamed that Lizard Dude had just gotten hired to work on a new Ninja Turtles game due to his demonstrated lack of nostalgia about the project, picking the best Ninja Turtle from a long list instead of picking his favorite.

  I just had this really intense dream

  My three friends from California and I were on some other planet. I was thinking about how in the old days people would need to be in space suits and check on the environmental conditions but not any more. Now it was like Star Trek.

  We were trying to help this girl possibly named Katie who was trying to use mental/magic power to do something (overthrow some regime?) but it wasn't strong enough so we were traveling around digging up and building these nodes that I realized were some kind of reflector that would carry the magic further across the globe from wherever its source was.

  We had to sneak onto someone's property to build one, and for the next one we knew of some lady who was a sympathizer to the girl's cause so she let us work at her house. We drove there with an overhead RPG style view through a sort of desert area to the dark green oasis where her house was. She had some old artifact called a Donaldson or something that was like a dark gray phone booth with a circular tube/disk on top but I think it was a particle accelerator or teleport system of some kind and she claimed it worked perfectly, but we didn't want to risk using it because the enemy would know where we were.

  The last device we were building was a little circuit board that went in a PlayStation 1 and you had to trick it into running some custom code but had to find an ISO that was the same size in order to do that.

  While the other three guys were doing that I went to the back of the house and turned on an AM radio with a weird exposed vacuum tube for the power button that I found because I was pretty sure there were listening devices planted there and I didn't want us to be found out, so it was playing some classic alien planet pop song of yesteryear while we tried to get it done. There were other radios with dead batteries and speakers in various states of repair on the back side of this house as well.

  Some guy I didn't know started asking me how long I had known Katie. It was around 6 or 7 years.

  Dreamed I was picking dad up from Grandma's book shop. As we started to go back home the sky filled with giant orange dust clouds sweeping through the streets and making it impossible to see. I kept trying to drive anyway because the dust would eventually blow past and get thin enough to see again. After a while we were on the highway and the wind started to get worse. I noticed that debris was everywhere. I slowed down because the road was getting narrow and less maintained. I made a slight turn as another dust cloud came through. Seconds later the car lurched and it felt like we were going underwater. The water cleared and looking around I saw we must have just driven through a large puddle. Other cars were parked around this metal shack but I decided to keep going. There were fallen branches and debris everywhere. After a while I had to make impossible maneuvers in my car and jump from giant leaning tree trunk to tree trunk. I got out of my car and tried to find a way through to the road in the middle of ever more giant felled trees and branches everywhere I looked.

  Dreamed I was trying to turn and drive down the street by the park but they were still working on the intersection so I had to drive onto the running track at the park, but they were holding a horse race, and a people race, and a people with screaming cats race, and running a city bus along the track too.   I dreamed I was at a school and was watching a group of kids be told to get into one building for a ceremony for whatever club they were in but no one believed the guy who was telling them to do that and they refused. Because they thought they would be in danger. Then after we did some research, we found out that it was a real thing that was supposed to happen every hundred years but the club was only 100 years old so no one had ever heard about it before.

  I was preparing to fight some guy who could telepathically track my location but I could see his location on my phone and somehow I had moved my parents' house to the north SF bay area and I knew he was driving my way. It was dark so I thought maybe I could blind him with a flashlight and hope someone else hit him from behind but I don't know what happened to the other people that helped me fight him before. I knew he was about to show up and as I gathered whatever weapons I could find I woke up.

  Dreamed I was in a vast countryside/farm area. I knew from reading a report from the future that a small dog was angry with me and would pick up a large chunk of concrete, stand on my car, and fling it into my windows. A car-sized meteor hit the ground and bounced slightly, leaving a large impression. I put the dog in my car with a now dented passenger window and went to look for the meteor. When I found the meteor, the area rapidly became midtown and I was having a hard time parking. The meteor had been built into an alcove on the outside of someone's house with a chair and a fountain.

  Dreamed I was watching a movie from the 70s on The Weather Channel. I was looking for a bowl for food or something and Data's hand was walking around on a checkered floor like Thing from the Addams Family, grabbing the bowl. Then the narration started. Some British guy was talking about his exile from society. The camera was pointed straight down from above as he was walking across a snowy landscape towards the bottom right of the screen, chased by a multitude of cars. His feet were sliding as he walked so he covered great distances with few steps, basically like he was superimposed on the footage. The next few scenes involved him swooping through the skies. The camera followed him tightly as he dipped and soared. He was a moose or large goat or yak in ski gear. There were trees close to the ground, and very narrow, very tall mountains here and there. There was one mountain in particular that had a tree on it where he landed and had to face his rival. There was just enough room for the two of them to stand on the top of the round, green hill. The tree was small so they fought with it between them. The opposing flying creature-person put its arms up to grab the protagonist's neck, but he just punched the rival in the shoulders, causing them to fall backwards. The protagonist then grabbed the tree and took it and its dirt mound with him as he leapt off the small round mountain and swooped up, turning into a grey fighter jet in the distance and flying far away. The copyright information displayed on the screen. I tried to record it on a DVR at Mom's house but when I played the recording there was just static.

  Then after a while it was time to leave this venue which was also apparently hosting a church service, so as I walked down the street I forgot to wait for my mom and a new violin student to catch up with me so I turned around and saw a stoplight with a new kind of icon: a "no swinging at the park" light. Crossing the street some girl kicked both of her shoes off and hit me in the head. My dream body could no longer be controlled so I couldn't run across the street and I had to crawl on my knees.

  I was playing Super Mario Advance and thinking to myself what I had forgotten how much crazy stuff they did in it.

  I was playing as Mega Man (slightly enlarged, badly scaled NES sprite) in a cloud level with lots of Birdo eggs lying around. After a while I got to a part of the level that was more like NES SMB3 with a black background where the goal was to keep getting Starmen and plow through as much stuff as possible. You could destroy items and enemies while invincible. There were spinning "disks" of items (things like POW blocks mostly) that took up most of the screen, items arranged diagonally, items stacked up that seemed to lower the ceiling when destroyed, and weird little gold Christmas trees that you could get trapped under if you destroyed too many items. By the end of the level, I was Kirby, thinking to myself how great the next section of the level was, but I ran offscreen past the doorway, over which there was a logo that said "All About Eve" in the style of the logo for the movie "All That Jazz."

  We were apparently in Tokyo. Girlfriend received a call from some guy asking a question, also saying he was too close now to turn back (I guess he was calling from the plane) It had to do with where we left two hats somewhere in our house or in a store. We left with him once he arrived. Our hotel was apparently on top of a mountain with a large lobby that had a gravity-propelled skyride down to the ground, which ended up at a weird place where some American guy inspected us to make sure we weren't part of the slave trade(?) and told us next time we needed to be more clear that we rode down to this station. I was telling him that the cool thing about Tokyo was that it was so futuristic but you could walk into a neighborhood and find 100-year old houses. This is basically not true of course. We walked into a shop at night and found lots of bootleg Star Trek action figures, or ones that were seemingly made by the real company by request, so they had made up mash-up names and bodies. I was excited to discover there was a Star Trek World attraction in the middle of the city (which looked totally different on Google Maps.) I was trying unsuccessfully to get good quality pictures of some of the weird toys.

  Girlfriend asked me to check something so I went into my room at night and looked out my open window where a couple of chickens were hovering just outside singing small "bok bok bok bok" songs and if you said it back to them they would respond.

  Dreamed that I dreamed that I saw on the news how at Target Stadium Amphitheater, after you watch an event, you can go shopping at the giant Target in the stadium's concentric rings, and then slide out any exit, shooting out from all sides. The exits were trapezoidal and slippery with fun drops at the rings' edges. We decided to go out to see it in Catoosa? during an icy windy day and we had a fun time sliding through the empty parking lot and holes cut in the chain link fence of this area with no stadium in sight. At the end of the parking lot there was a very cool looking retention pond with waves blowing very intensely in the breeze. I took a picture of my girlfriend in her coat and for some reason this caused me to call some guy named Cody, and I canceled the call immediately. Then I got a message on the Plex Stax messaging program like Discord+Google Hangouts+Twitch. My friend was planning to switch to it. "You have a Stax" was its push notification. My friend and I and this Cody guy voice chatted for a while while I played with this weird toy car that was not well built and had wider tires on the left than the right, and had a space for watch batteries to power its cop lights.

  Several people are sculpting a clay tablet in the form of an 8" floppy disk. They are having trouble getting it thin enough. One daughter says "I can't do this anymore," and gives up sculpting it thinner and thinner. The father tells her that this is his legacy and how he wants his knowledge preserved. They slide the halves of the disk sculpture apart and he presents his finest work: the disk media, or a sculpture of it. I ask what is being preserved on it and he shows me a screen with a config.sys file that causes Windows XP to boot in record time. He shows me on a computer and when you turn it on, the OS is usable almost instantly, with graphics and fonts loading in a second after everything is ready.

  At night, the line outside Taco Bell wraps around the restaurant, and both drive-thru lanes are packed. I stand around the doorway for a moment, and then I pretend I'm tired of waiting and leave. This causes everyone else to decide they're leaving and they all vanish from the line, and the same goes for the cars. I get in the drive-thru and order, and I'm informed that whatever I ordered doesn't have its correct sauce right now but they can still make it but it might taste kinda weird because it needs a certain lemon sauce. I say that's fine so I drive on through. I am now standing in line inside, where the interior is a mix of collectibles stores Starbase 21 and Vintage Stock. There are sci-fi toys and tons of Game & Watches for sale. I see variant models I've never seen before so I pick up a cheap "Octopus 3-D" for $8.95. I also notice a "Mario Bros. Arcade Edition" and show my family who are now here also. Finally arriving at the cash register, I've found several other items on my way through the line. My dad's friend rings me up and gives me a ton of change and single bills for the $75 I handed him and it's extremely hard to follow his explanation of how much change there is and he keeps dropping the coins everywhere. I finally exit to the gas station parking lot and see some people I was with waiting on a motorcycle. I can't hold my stuff so I take it to the back seat of my car. As I sit down to organize, I see Mom driving my electric 80s Firebird away very poorly. Someone inside touches the roof and sparks fly. The interior of the car starts to burn so I get out and start yelling. I'm very upset because it turns out my younger brother was driving and every time he drives one of my electric cars it bursts into flames. The car turns around and they finally get out and walk down the street towards me.

He had weird little sparrow wings and after I petted him he calmed down but his limbs started to stretch and mutate, Tetsuo-style. I put him in a paper sack and found that there were two other mice downstairs, along with other weird creatures like 16-legged mouse-shaped insects and little beetles that looked like pineapples. As I attempted to clean this mess up, emergency alarms blared in my ears and I wondered if a tornado was coming.

  Dreamed I was in some sort of chase game where I led a group of people through a gigantic house with tons of rooms and floors, and there were secret passages everywhere, like in cupboards and closets. The opposing team was following us and we had to leave as little of a trail as possible while keeping up our stamina, so there were frequent kitchens to make peanut butter sandwiches. The higher floors in the house started having worse-quality ingredients. Eventually I stepped out of the room my party was occupying for a moment and behind the threshold of another room I saw my older brother smiling, and then another person jumped out from behind the wall to capture me and I yelled.

  Mom and I had to steal a Roxette casette tape from someone's house. It was dangerous so we let the residents' dog free from our car to distract them while we went inside. These were seemingly tapes from our house.

  Driving back down our street going east, there were larger-than-usual houses and the white house with pillars had luminous purple and magenta fog in its trees. It was some kind of factory.

  I was having a very hard time keeping my car driving straight. First I had to turn the wheel nearly all the way to the right, then to the left as we went over the various slopes of the road. After a while we found out there was a "load simulator" function indicated on the dashboard that had been turned on. After we turned it off, the car worked fine. I was supposedly driving back to my house but the image in my mind was Grandma's house.

  As we got closer to our cross street, the image shifted. I was controlling a top-down view of a pinball-like scene where the goal was to guide a Disney prince on a horse through this zigzagging lane but if you went too fast the horse couldn't handle the turns and would spin out or fall over. Close to the end of the track, he fell off the rails and became Goofy falling into a water hazard below the track. Climbing the stairs back to the main attraction area, we were approaching a very wide and long outdoor stairway to a mall-like castle. It was getting dark as we entered, and we struggled to figure out whether the dancing figures in glass displays in the wall were people or animatronics. Some of the dancers emerged into the walkway area and one of them was like a small, egglike Buzz Lightyear with a cube or sack on its head.

  Girlfriend went into a shop where they had a stack of items on display near the metal detector. I noticed that the shops were starting to close and pulling down blue metal doors. I figured we had better leave and by the time we walked through the door and left, it had already closed and had its metal door in place. We began to walk out of the mall and went down some steps that were smooth enough that I figured out that I could just slide both my feet down them at once, extremely quickly. This reminded me of the way our exchange student's brother slid his feet down the stairs when we visited them. Outside, it was getting dark but there was a misspelled sign that amused me so I took a picture of it. It took a long time and was blurry and somewhat diagonal from the long exposure. My brother put his hand through the holes in a trash can to reach me and I thought that was gross.

  I was in an underground compound in the style of an early DOS FPS with Chief O'Brien and Ben and Jake Sisko. I went into one yellow room that seemed to be a chapel with rows of pews. I went to the third one from the front and clicked my mouse on a blocky sprite of Dr. Manhattan. He looked at me from the side of his face with one big round eye and disappeared, leaving a device that looked like an open TOS communicator with the handle of a phaser. There was now an outline of Dr. Manhattan's body that looked like a gorilla in place of every closely-spaced doorway in the blue corridor that led to the way out. As the other three wandered around looking for a way to the surface, I started trying to activate a transporter that had a passport ID-style fingerprint scanner, but it had the voice of Picard and wouldn't let me beam us out. O'Brien figured out that the weird device I found was some sort of absolute matter controller, and it was blocking the gain of our signals. He decided he would stay behind, saying "Are you crazy? We can't take that thing back with us. It'll destroy the universe!" Somehow though we got into the transporter booth and managed to control it enough to start beaming us out as he threw the device to the wall. We beamed out to a place at night with a fountain and a weird round shiny TOS-style turret above it that shook and blew sparks as the underground compound exploded. The turret fired three capsules, about the right size to hold in two hands, one red, blue, and yellow. The red and yellow ones bounced off the parking lot but the blue one stayed stuck in midair and rotated on its long axis quickly for a while.

  Dreamed my dad sent me a viral post featuring 3 "song fails" about video games. The second one started off with girls driving a "taxi" (more like a black amusement park ride vehicle of some kind) with a weird sign on top of the open-air cab that said "Morocco" in volcanic letters. The lyrics were "video game marquee, imported says G-C-E" but the girl singing it pronounced it "mar-queue" so it didn't even rhyme.

  The preview of the next song was "girl meets supergun" and it showed a girl trying to sit down at a candy cab-height control panel but it had some exposed high voltage PCB/contraption on it and she zapped her knee and fell over.

  Trying to explain the layout of an old church to a bunch of people while we were in one section of it (but it was actually Grandma's house) talking about a long narrow corridor that led to a section over a cliff

  Ordering food from a doorway at the side of an automatic car wash where it pulls your car through

  A "new" version of Batman Returns. I was viewing it from the perspective of Batman. I became aware that there was another Batman as well. He had a Brooklyn accent or something.  We both had gorillas to help us out. So far there were no supervillains but 2021 Michelle Pfeiffer seemed to be playing a washed-up Avon lady. One night the other Batman and I, along with our gorillas, were on a rooftop and some weird little triangular weights on chains dropped down from the sky.

  One gorilla grabbed one and was whisked upward, so we all grabbed on and were pulled up to a white foggy Penguin-themed aircraft interior. There were bird-styled controls and as we looked at them, the craft took an incredible dive and began swooping closer and closer to the buildings of Gotham City. The other Batman said something like "we're on the wrong ride!" and one of us followed up with something like "we got the wrong guy!" This was very funny. We managed to jump off the deck of the aircraft and laid low on top of another building. This one had a small room on top with a large hole where giant hornets were coming out. They were about a foot long and just crawled around on the roof before going back in the hole as I scrambled to turn on a flashlight. Then the room also had a door where some dachshunds came out. After a while it got to be morning and the "fire department" showed up. They seemed to actually be some kind of film safety committee and we had to pay them to get them to leave us alone. Avon lady and her lackeys were there eventually and she had to give the committee some money as well. After this, we were sitting in a garden in the city and some event was happening. I was sitting across from a woman and she was next to the Avon lady. Avon lady said "I need to borrow your shoes" and the woman across from me handed her an extra pair of shoes that she wasn't wearing. Moments later I found she had used the shoes as collateral in some kind of gambling, and then started betting large amounts of piano sheet music. As she read off the names of each piece I realized this was all music I owned. I looked at my piano and all the sheet music it had on its stand was missing. She could not pronounce "Le Cathedrale Engloutie" and at this point I declared in a very loud voice that this music belonged to me and I demand it be returned immediately. The person officiating this didn't know what to do and then someone in what had now become my parents' living room turned to me and showed me a book of single-panel cartoons which he explained were drawn by a woman who was also a letter carrier. He said "but this is twice as much!" and tried to get me to look up the price for it on eBay so he would know what it was worth.

  Dreamed that I had a bunch of ebay orders but the 3D printer printed everything upside down, which made all the battery covers paper thin and flexible like the Lego fire house garage doors. My house's kitchen countertops were even worse than they were in real life, being only about 30 inches high, sliced up sections of counters that were slapped together here. Some of them were covered in .5"x1" formica tile instead of a sheet. There was some creature living in the very precarious pantry with lots of things sticking out from it, and it was making noise but really hard to locate.

  We were driving somewhere in St. Louis. We were on the highway but there was a road we had to cross to get to a tunnel that was an uninterrupted road to whatever street we were going to. It was a weird sloping road on the left, that looked like it went to an autobank, kind of in a place that seemed incorrect.

  As we drove through the tunnel, we were walking instead and going past lots of other people who were content to stand on the moving floor. Two girls and one guy kept pace with us and we all got in a large elevator at the end of the concrete conveyor belt with steps.

  The elevator had seats so I sat down. The elevator was going up at a very fast speed, sometimes slowing for a moment and then continuing up. After a while, the golden woodgrain walls were windows and I could see that we were moving backwards as well as upwards. I could feel the vibration every time the skyride carriage moved past the rollers, but otherwise it was a very fast ride that almost seemed like we weren't moving at all. We went higher and higher away from the city center and I was trying to remember what professor this ride led to. I whispered "what a smooth ride. This is the kind of thing I'm always dreaming about," just as my alarm went off.

  I was in a semi-outdoor Mexican/Spanish style restaurant watching some women speak at a table behind a plexiglass barrier. I wondered if people would be mad that I didn't have a mask when I had to get back on the plane later. I washed my feet off in the drain that was used for the soda fountain runoff. The soda fountain in this case only had very small hot and cold water knobs. My younger brother was at mom's house around 4 AM after being up all night gambling. He didn't like it at all. I couldn't sleep and I was wandering around. He started asking me why I didn't follow bands on social media that told all about the projects of their auxiliary members. He couldn't understand why I didn't use social media the same way he did. His girlfriend's cat was an even larger cat than usual and for some reason he was at mom's house. The small grey cat from next door was there too, playing with him and biting him. The first cat was in his litter box rolling around and getting ready to eat his food, which was a bunch of dissolvable packing peanuts. As he devoured them and continued to roll around, we discovered some very large flies under the kitchen rug. The cat was now a dog and while chewing, smartly squished one of the flies with his paw. We were all very impressed with his show of coordination. We managed to swat and destroy the other flies and dispose of them as the music got more and more intense. I thought about what a wild battle that would have been if the overpass we were fighting on hadn't been blocked off and under construction as a giant pile of rubble. The cars would have made it much more difficult. The Final Fantasy XII party consisted of 4 Smash Bros. characters with two Ganondorfs, one being Lt. (Light) Ganondorf, a white-magic-using version whose catchphrase "you die now!" seemed very out of place.

  Dreaming I was at a recording of a Rick Astley concert where he was saying "this is the most important night of my life," had his shirt unbuttoned and was crowd surfing and started to look increasingly more like Buckaroo Banzai with the crowd screaming uncontrollably while he was singing "only mortal doctors, only mortal doctors... only mortal doctors have seen it all"

  It looked a lot like a giant version of my brother's room with lots of posters of Bob-ombs and other things around the studio's blue walls

  This has happened just as I was trying to use the HD camcorder's light to illuminate the inside of the Asteroids Deluxe cabinet so I could work on something and when I was getting ready to record what I was doing, that was one of the videos that played because I accidentally had it on play mode

  In a previous dream I was being driven downtown by going away from it on the expressway

  When we got downtown the sky was looking really cool and I tried to take pictures but they didn't turn out

  Then we got out and there was an extremely large building that had glass sides and a large overhang with nothing below part of it, and it was so high that there were mammatus clouds against the bottom of the overhanging area

  There were lots of annoying apartment buildings too and I guess the new thing to do was to have a lot of furniture glued to the outside of your building, with various wall colors and angles, like parts facing straight down for pedestrians to look up at

  Dreamed we suddenly had a kid, probably because in real life a puppy suddenly showed up in the backyard. Couldn't tell at all, suddenly a leg was sticking out, then the whole baby, never cried though, just kind of looked content most of the time Dad's side of the family was at my house taking a photo behind all the bushes and trees for some reason, and I looked up and saw a rocket falling. A large space capsule fell out of the rocket and as it got nearer and nearer to the ground, you could read the brand name on it and it got larger more and more dragon quest slime shaped. It hit the ground probably somewhere near Expo Square and made a huge noise. The rest of the rocket and some other piece quickly exited the atmosphere.

  Dreamed I was going to the "downtown Lowe's" to pick up some supplies but I was driving my older brother's ambulance to a store that was orange inside, but it was kind of like the entrance to Ikea and there was an extremely long line to get in. I found out there were also places to check out outside the store area, which didn't make sense since you couldn't have anything to buy yet. I had a lot of stuff in my arms so I went to put some things in the ambulance but it was actually a school bus, but inside it was like a school and not a bus. The classroom was kind of dilapidated and looked like some work had been done on the walls but the desks were bolted to the floor and falling through it. Some guy asked me for like $20 to buy his stuff and I was like no way dude. There was a globular bottle of wine on the ground that had cracked at the neck and was leaking all over the floor. It got harder and harder to arrange and handle the stuff I was trying to organize in order to get in line to get inside the store until I woke up.

  Movie about one person trying to uncover corporate espionage? at a really tall building with a rudder/weathervane hanging over the vast futuristic city. Every time the main character (male?) gets close to the truth, he is thwarted by a Ghost in the Shell Puppeteer-like villain who leaves cryptic threats but is never seen, and causes machines and corporation personnel to chase him. Scientist and two goons enter building from roof as protagonist is leaving, ominous feeling as if scientist is doomed. Protag witnesses scientist being shot, probably for uncovering the conspiracy. Story moves to different planet where city is very snowy and hard to navigate. After a while we find an area with the same rudder/weathervane and realize the snow is just hundreds of stories high. The corporation is running the same operation here as on the other planet. For some reason protagonist is able to walk freely through the building as if a known entity/not considered a threat (perhaps they don't know that he knows what's going on) He meets the same scientist who was shot on the other planet and tries to warn him that they are going to shoot him. This probably alerts the goons that the jig is up. The corporation has clones/copies of the same people on each planet where they are running their operation, each unaware that they are the same as on other planets. This version of the Scientist is later seen at a party, unharmed. Unknown girl reporter? is also on the trail but tends to leave the protagonist hanging (literally) by escaping and jumping large distances down to waiting glider, etc. Main character gets captured accidentally because he didn't jump at the right time. Perspective shifts to girl?

  I was playing a game on my phone that had a very complicated story and setting, which seemed to be a Mega Man Legends/Xenogears remake. It had beautifully animated cutscenes of people in an old tavern hallucinating stained glass paintings of Elly from Xenogears after seeing some strange faces carved into the wall with push buttons in their mouths. The catch about the game was that they ran out of money to fix a bug and so to please the shareholders they patched in a crypto miner that would run in the background as you played until you collected about 10 whatevers and allowed them to finish fixing the bug. This was all announced on the screen before you could get back into the game. Part of the game also involved climbing up to save people from high places in ruined buildings.

  Before that I was dreaming about a school auditorium (full concert venue) with a weird hexagonal mesh over the middle, and kids were climbing up on it, unaware of the human-sized spiders that were there with their near-completely invisible webs. I made a comment later that they were like the spiders from a Christopher Nolan movie, and I said "that's a [name] sized spider right there!"

  We were at a beachside apartment with either my family or with my friends from California. We went to the beach and while we were there a shark came up onto the beach. It could breathe air, but we managed to convince it to go back to the sea. Later, after we did other things, I returned to the apartment and found the shark there in a floral pattern dress, conveying to me that she was going crazy because she wanted a boyfriend. She had beady shark eyes and incredibly mangled, thin teeth. It seemed like the shark could speak, but it also seemed like I had to interpret so everyone else could understand her desire. The rest of the dream involved us getting into a boat and taking the shark back out to sea to find a boyfriend for her. There seem to have been more details that I don't remember now. When I woke up, I tried to tell my mom and dad about the dream in excruciating detail but they kept interrupting me a couple words into each sentence. There was an in-ground hot tub in the backyard and my dad was getting ready to soak. I was doing laundry and found a bunch of my girlfriend's socks stuck in the gasket between the drum and dryer body. I was looking into the dryer at my house and getting ready to use its trap door switch after luring people to climb up into its drum from the back side, under the house. Pushing this switch caused some grippy material near the dryer door to change shape and slope downwards to form a supposed barrier to keep the people from getting past it. I had to quickly enter some guy's SUV in order to escape from or apprehend someone but there was no room to get in the passenger seat so I started moving all of the papers and action figure boxes out of the seat in order to sit down. There was a large stack of papers on the dashboard and I also moved those out of the way. I also removed a bunch of static cling stickers from the passenger section of the windshield, which made the guy upset, so I promised to put them back. As we started moving, I had to try closing the passenger door several times before it would actually shut. The rest of the trip was spent organizing the papers and looking for where I had put the static cling stickers. I eventually started organizing all of the action figures and stacking them as efficiently as possible. There were unseen Star Wars characters and small-scale Star Trek figures that I had never encountered before. I didn't find the static cling stickers by the time I woke up for real.

  At some twilit riverfront area in a restaurant balcony overlooking the water, I saw green creatures turning their bodies through the water. At first they appeared to be alligators, then they looked like hippos, then they seemed to be rhinoceroses with very small horns. As they swam they would put their feet out of the water and I could see the bottom of their feet were like someone making a really beefy circle with their hands. They started getting out of the water and sitting on the riverbank by the dozens and to my surprise, they were a bunch of green apes. "Regular apes," someone corrected me, and then I could see they were just covered in algae. The river was someone's lawn and there was a kid throwing a hackey sack with a hole in it up to the people on the balcony. This became a progressively more concerning situation for some reason and everyone began to complain. Eventually there was a girl in some square costume like she was a Game Boy or a Macintosh, trying to pick someone for something. I guess she was the emissary for some aliens. Eventually I went home to a place similar to my house where some woman complimented my mom's script for whatever had just occurred, talking about how natural her dialog was.

Books!" anyway I ended up buying a Virtual Boy game I'd never heard of, one other game for an unidentified system, and I also accidentally bought a dark orange DSi for $210

  At my parents' house upstairs watching Return of the Jedi on Laserdisc, on the old JCPenney TV. It's next to a newer tube TV. I am wondering if the other TV is hooked up to the LD player as well. The movie has a preview of itself at the beginning, with two annoying guys doing running commentary on the famous scene with some giant guy lying flat, face down, on top of a pyramid, and at one point changing the direction of his head and limbs to try to grab some people who have climbed above him to get into the small structure on top. Commentary like "he smells like it," etc.
  The movie is about a group of Rebels trying to sneak a kid into a large government facility where he is being searched for. Nancy Pelosi needs the kid in order to launch a space shuttle and they are trying to avoid his capture at all costs. There is more Huttese spoken in this movie than any other Star Wars film.
  The kid is in my parents' house. We hatch a plan with one of my friends to use my car to get the kid to safety, while some arrogant guy mockingly takes pictures of my jaw with a vacuum cleaner hose in an attempt to intimidate me into telling him where the kid is. My friend drives away from the diagonal back-in parking space directly across from the front yard.
  After night comes, we are in the driveway getting something out of my car's back hatch. I discover that the kid is the son of one of Mom's friends, and the reason behind all this turmoil is that the small violin he's using makes it hard not to play multiple strings at once. I say that there's something wrong with the bridge, which is now a lozenge-shaped piece of wood with small raised areas for each string to rest on. I don't think the curve of the bridge is correct, but Mom protests. She thinks there's something wrong with the "innercord" (a part that does not exist) connecting the tailpiece to another part on the violin that I struggle to name, under the fingerboard. There is loud dance music coming from a treehouse across the street, featuring a lighted inflatable palm tree. This is apparently something new we have to live with. We are in the living room and I notice that it is 12:56 AM, and I am upset because I won't get enough sleep.

  I had flown to Japan and was meeting some friends and enemies at a restaurant where you could play video games while you wait for your food. We played several selections including Devil May Cry, a 4-player minigame collection starring outlandish characters. After a very strange action/karaoke minigame, the people I was with started to leave. I became panicked because I didn't remember whether I had paid for my food. It was getting late and I was getting ready to speak to an employee who ended up being an American, throwing off my plans to speak in Japanese. My problems were further compounded when I realized that a girl had caused me to drive my car off a cliff by the road and my wallet was at the bottom of the sea along with my car, just as in the City Hunter episode I watched the night before. The restaurant tried calling my enemy, who was the person who had set up the meals, but he was agitated on the phone. I went to the mine-like underground dining area to speak to him in person but he was on the verge of tears. I was trying to get through to him but all he did was tell me that the cops would react badly to me not paying, despite the restaurant agreeing to wait for me to pay if I discovered that I had in fact not paid. My friend went back with me to the counter and as I explained the situation, they prepared another platter of food for me, this time with meat instead of tofu. My friend warned me of this so I said he could have the meat. My friend and my enemy left with the food. My family was there and my mom said my dad was a bitcoin millionaire for now, and he could lend me some money. In our hotel room he had a small ring box full of diamonds and said I should go pawn one to get the cash, but I didn't have an ID since my wallet was gone. While I was inspecting a diamond, I found two little black pixel squares on each side that you could use to enlarge and explode the diamond like a diagram when you pulled on them. The diamond was full of plastic layers and curved rods in primary colors. I spent some time expanding, disassembling, and contracting the diamond, until I held it near an opened window-mount air conditioner that was on the floor and accidentally mangled its delicate white rubber fans and rubber moisture splatterers with the sharpness of the diamond. Feeling bad about this and about the restaurant situation, I felt worse when I remembered that I hadn't told anyone at my office that I was going on vacation.

  I had gone back home for a day from visiting Singapore. Mom and my brother were in my "neighborhood" which seemed to be indoors. There was a pile of stuff on the corner and some guy told me he thought "they" were clearing out someone's house. One of the items was a midsize camera that recorded onto microcassette. I thought it was strange that a FreeStyle Lego box looked exactly like mine. I was at a work meeting outside in my car and my boss was making some kind of joke about my presence, seemingly unaware that I was on vacation. I was driving my car somewhere but it was turned off. It kept bumping gently into a building as I tried to push the park button. It didn't make sense that I would come home for one day and return to Singapore because it would take too long. The strangeness of everything made me realize this was a dream. I made my car do a forward loop and it landed on my shoulders, so I picked it up, floated over, and sat it at the crest of a hill. I was floating face down and didn't seem to be able to fly, and I decided I'd better not start off too big since I didn't have a full map of of the environment in my head, so I floated to a tree and used my hands to propel myself up a tall tree to survey the area and decide what to do, but before long I could feel my body lying on my stomach in bed.

  We were driving around in Dallas at night and I decided I needed to get some cash so we went to the Fifth National Bank. There was a spray paint stencil sign/wanted poster of a grinning guy with an elaborate mustache and a patch over his left eye with a skull and crossbones on it. I went inside and began to fill out a ballot/survey about whether or not they should arrest the guy on the sign. A different guy came in to rob the bank and while he was threatening the teller, I asked him if the guy on the poster was his friend and whether he helped him rob banks. The robber said no, so I voted "no" and signed the ballot. I left the bank and called 911 to report the robbery. I got a detailed explanation of how the street numbering worked, and guessed that the bank was in the southwest part of the city. I was totally wrong and it was in the northeast. We drove around, trying to avoid the area, but ended up right back at the bank. The police figured out where the bank was anyway, and I tried to tell the officer this was the place from my position in the car.

  I should probably mention the dream I was experiencing right before I woke up today, which involved some kind of GoBots/1966 Batman crossover where Robin and a very young Batman with Robin's hair were lying down in the Batmobile which had tank treads or lots of wheels, and by remote control Batman crushed the TNT plunger the Riddler was using. Then they were going to film the next scene but two people I didn't know came to my door and said "We decided we're going to tell you now -- they died. And they were terrible Zoomers." This sounded so stupid that it caused me to wake up.

  dream #1 Girlfriend dropped me off at "my house," a large urban townhome with a front and back exit. People began to enter my house and touch my things, eat my food, etc. Eventually a police officer came in and I told him I would like to evict these people from my house as I was walking on the landing in my staircase.

  dream #2 Severely underpopulated Beck concert in a medium-sized theater/auditorium, maybe 30-40% full. We were sitting in the right side of the house. Musicians were all on stage right, no recognizable songs. Eventually we moved left to be closer to the stage. Mom was sitting on the couch facing the left wall trying to find small pieces of chocolate of a disturbing shape. I looked through the couch cushions to find one of the concerning chocolate pieces but found the torso of a cricket. Eventually two kids were coaxed onstage wearing baseball caps with unknown logos on them and large, ill-fitting headphones. They were supposed to sing Private Eyes. One of the kids said he was going to imitate his dad's sense of music and faced away from the audience and began wailing/grumbling on stage while pressing a yellow attenuator pedal with his heel. Someone in the audience could not contain his laughter at the supposed hilarity of the spectacle, which eventually caused me to start laughing. I laughed myself awake and my girlfriend wondered what was wrong with me because my breathing was so abnormal.

  Dreamed my Dad revealed he was really good at "QWOP", an 80s arcade game starring a character similar to Kwirk on Game Boy, where the object was to make goat noises at enemies to distract them before you shoot a tether at them, jump up and spin them around your body a few times for points, and then catapult them onto rockets coming out of the ground and floating metallic platforms with volcanic, Bonk-esque scenery.

  He was showing this to my uncle while we were waiting in the green room of the local Theatre for Todd Rundgren to arrive. He walked past to get ready. Someone came in asking about the cat you could see from the window outside and I told them someone lived up there and that was their cat. Some girl came in wanting to buy Doobie Brothers records but as this was my parents' living room, it was kind of crowded and hard to get to the record bins. I showed her three 12" vinyl bags of cotton balls based on Doobie Brothers album covers and she said she already had them. She went back to look through the records by the front window.

  Grandpa came in and gave me a hug instead of a handshake, then asked me if I got my heritage while I was in jail. I didn't know what this meant since I had never been in jail so I shook my head and he walked away disappointedly.

  The video game was now a 2.5D platformer about a young boy who was too foolish to know that the proper thing was to make goat noises at your enemies, so he was reprimanded by his father and jumped down to an area with no floor, so the blue sky was just beneath the bricks and logs he was sitting on while his mother tried to figure out where he was.

  I was reading on Wikipedia about a branch of the "Don Caballero's" arcade chain in Tochigi that once famously had a giant statue of PaRappa outside it, somewhere in its giant parking lot, but it was eventually removed because the arcade version of the game was no longer there. The story went that people were fighting in the arcade and since arcade cabinets were valuable, someone got it as compensation for the injuries they received in the fight. Tony Hawk also apparently had done some extreme unicycling inside once which was only documented on some bootleg dvds from China. Eventually I found some English language radio broadcast archives from an Utsunomiya radio station that featured a guy explaining that it was all a myth and none of that stuff ever existed. I was preparing to write a blog post about it since I figured Wikipedia wouldn't allow my edits.

  I went in to pick up my Switch 2 preorder and they kept handing me Switch 2-branded cassette tapes and stuff (in that type of packaging with a plastic blister between two layers of cardboard) and then acted like they had done their job and I was like uhh no I ordered the console and then they never found one in the back so as the store increasingly became my parents' kitchen I poked around and found a disassembled one in two open boxes that someone had returned but left some kind of credit card/camera flash enabling card in the back of the machine, with the guy's name on it. It had a button to switch between 4 total functions and seemed to be designed for tourists. After that, we went outside and got in a giant gold three-axled RV shaped sort of like a bullet called a Sophia and talked to some guy for a while. He called a small black dog into the RV, who ran through the driver door and out the side door extremely fast. The guy told the dog to run home, and as the dog went through the grass-covered street, he was bitten by a small snake and freaked out. Some other guy walked up and picked up the dog and the snake let go of the dog and bit the guy's hand. After a while we watched the Sophia drive out of a small parking lot and marveled at how its middle wheels compensated for the height problem as it drove off a curb.

  A kid in my store was jiggling tables with cups of liquids on them and I was telling him he needed to stop. A guy sitting on the couch started jiggling the coffee table with a measuring cup of chocolate milk on it, apparently in solidarity with the kid, and was smiling playfully as if he thought I would enjoy the joke. I said "sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave," and he started walking towards the door, yelling in Spanish. I looked at him and said "sorry, I don't understand." He said sobbing, "it means I don't apologize to anyone! Anymore," and finally left. I was upset about having kicked out all the customers for their behavior and asked my girlfriend what I should have done. It was dark outside and through grandma's bay window I could see a mouse crawling around and sticking its snout into a volcano-shaped pile of leaves. Girlfriend said "that's not a mouse, it's a mongoose." It was, and it came inside phasing through the wall and started crawling around. He rolled his suspiciously raccoon-like body around on the floor at my feet and showed me his belly, and I was increasingly concerned by his two rows of prehensile concentric spiral teeth as he kept yawning. I took as many pictures as I could.
